My Top 5 MAC Eyeshadows

Here are my current Top 5 Eye Shadows from MAC.

Brule (Matte) -My favourite base shade, lighter than my skin which brightens and highlights my eyes and brow bone.

Omega (Matte) - A Cool light brown with ashy/grey undertones when on the skin. I use this as an everyday crease colour.

Club - My current favourite shade a unique shade of a rich dark brown with green shimmery flecks. This is a light eye shadow that gives a fairly good colour pay off but best of all is build able making it suitable for day and night. Currently I am using this in the crease and winged out to create a dynamic but delicate smokey eye

Amber Lights - (Frost) This deep copper shimmer is such a lovely rich colour. For a frost this shadow has very good colour pay off. This is lovely for creating a warm shimmery eye with the added bit of sparkle.

Cranberry (Frost) -  Cranberry is another Frost that has very good pay off, rather than having glitter or shimmer with little colour pay off this eye-shadow is very strong with a deep red colour that can be blended out. This rich cranberry colour is lovely for an autumn eye.

Here are some swatches of the eye shadows with and without the flash.

Hope this gives you an incite into my Favourite Eye shadows from MAC.

My Top 5 Foundations

No. 1 - Mac Face and Body

Probably my all time favourite foundation (although I do like to chop and change). My current colour is C3. This foundation is great as i have dry skin this is very runny formula which helps to hydrate my skin. Its also thin enough to be applied through an airbrush. Very multifunctional as its name states it can be used on the face and body for that quick cover of blemishes or to add a quick tan. Its very much like a tinted moisturiser but isn't oily and really get absorbed by the skin. It is a light coverage but can be built upon in layers and coverage gets stronger the more you work with the product which is why i like to use a buffing brush to apply this foundation.

C6                  C3                   C1

Here are my 3 shades of  MAC face and body that i switch between depending on the season and weather of not i have a tan.

No. 2 -  MAC Studio Fix Fluid with SPF 15

This is probably my least favourite from my Top 5 at the moment due to it being summer in the UK and with this foundation have such a high coverage and thick consistency it can feel very hot and heavy in the sun. However these are the features that make it so great, when you want that flawless full face coverage this foundation is perfect. It covers dark circles and blemishes without much use of concealers. This foundation is great for oily to combination skin, I defiantly find i need to insure I have hydrated skin before using this as it tends to latch onto the dry skin, but on a good skin day its amazing.

I have this foundation in shade NW22 which is a bit to dark and warm (pinky orange) for me as my skin is a bit more yellow. This is a old shade that i got about 3 years ago and replaced, however don't think this is really my colour any more and my skin is much cooler, so i don't wear this very often.
(Note to self... get colour matched again)

No. 3 - Bourjois Happy Light

This is Drug store foundation from Bourjois Paris from there Happy light range, which is aimed to give a glowy, radiant appearance to the skin and help colour correct the skin. This foundation glides on the skin, leaving it feeling really soft and as if your not wearing foundation. It claims to have 8 hrs hydration which i would say it round about does. This is a medium coverage foundation which gives flawless luminous effect on the skin and is a fraction of the price of foundations as good.
My shade is No. 52 Light Beige which is more suited to when i got a tan (or fake :P )

No. 4 - Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum

My Next favourite is also a Bourjois foundation from the drugs store. This is a gel like formula which glides across the skin and feels quite cooling and refreshing which applied. Its quite a full coverage foundation at the start and sits on your skin for a while until it begins to be absorbed then looks a little more natural at a medium coverage. It is packed full of vitamins for an anti fatigue look and it has a lovely fruity fragrance too!! I always use a buffing brush to apply this foundation or go over the skin after application with a buffing brush as it does tend to leave brush marks and streaks if you use a flat foundation brush for application due to its gel like formula.
The shade i have is No. 53 Light Beige. Despite the same shade name this is a much lighter colour foundation than the Bourjois happy light.

No. 5  Nars Sheer Glow

Last but not least is my Nars sheer glow, i love this foundation and is my special occasion foundation at the moment as i am running very low. This comes in a very close tie for my favourite foundation. It has a light to medium coverage depending how you apply it with a lovely glowy appearance. It can be build-able and in light layers built up can create the most beautiful, flawless skin with the luminosity of a film star. The sheer Glow is perfect for normal to dry skin (that's me) It is a very appealing foundation leaving your skin looking healthy and feeling super soft. I loves it !!!

My Colour is medium 1 Punjab which is my winter shade, so my next purchase will be the next shade up :)

So that's my Top 5 Foundations including Affordable Drug Store products and higher end foundations. Ranging from light to full coverage and could you tell that I don't like Matte skin :) Luminous, Glowy skin all the way!!

Here is my recommendations, Please tell me  your top 5 Foundations in the comments.
